I am installing Microsoft Office Enterprise After beginning installation, the progress bar continues for a moment, then gives me the following error: "Setup cannot find publisher. The file in question is intact and working, and I point the installer to the file, and it asks me again. I have tried several solutions, including just ticking "do not install" next to Publisher, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me?

Microsoft Word installed using Bootsrapper technology. However, many people have difficulty installing Office because of this technology. Step 1: Open Registry Editor from the Run window.
Back up this key AppCompatFlags and then delete it. Do not delete it without backing up. Now run the Office installation file again and no such error should occur thereafter.
Use the Microsoft Fixit tool to remove the older version of Office installed on the computer from the following article. If the auto validation doesn't work, you may validate by telephone. A later version of Office present on the PC will interfere with the validation process and so, as has already been said, later versions must be uninstalled before attempting to install Office At that time you have to make personal contact with MS You will have to talk to someone at MS, but not at the normal support phone contacts.
Something in your story is not right.
